Been there, done that, wasn't all that impressed.
In fact I have spent about four years total actually living (as opposed to just reading about it like you) in various European countries, mostly Germany, courtesy of my rich Uncle Sam. I'm actually half German (first generation) and have numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who still live there. So what kind of contacts and personal experience do you have with we Americans to serve as the basis for your often repeated disdain of us?
Never mind, i really couldn't care less. I learned long ago that no matter what we Americans do there will
always be a portion of Europeans who will hate us and it's a waste of time worrying about it let alone trying to change it.
I also know, given my own European experience and European family contacts, that your hatred of us isn't nearly as universal as you make it out to be. Either way there is a reason the Americas are called the "New World" and Europe the "Old World", terms coined BTW by the millions of Europeans who have immigrated here for a better life.
