I thought you had to lock on to the target in which case the perescope crosshair s always aimed at the middle. Or should I not lock on and manualyl hold the cross hair at a ship's front / back etc in order to get the torp to hit there. Btw I have waited ages sometimes for stationary ships to sink. In some cases they are on their sides but thats as far as they go. I have to fire one or two more torps to get them to finally sink  Such a waste! |
If you align the direction of your u-boat's bow and the periscope "0" to a certain part of a ship and you "unlock" the targeted ship and then press fire, the torpedo will go to the specific part of the ship.
