Good thing you escaped those mines though.
Happened to me some time ago ,I was following a merchant into the enlgish channel (wtf was i thinkinh) and I suddenly hit a mine.I stopped and started emergency repairs while my ship was starting to sink.After some time I managed to get things working again,get rid of the flooding and get back up.I then wasted a lot of time using the mine-maps and chart tools and plotted a flawless and highly complicated way out of there,based on my estimate position and the mine I hit ,what position it had in the field and a lot of things like that...
After a lot of time of calculating ,I had plotted ,as I was saying,a "fail-safe" course out of the field and back to base.I was so sure it was right that I went ahead full.After a few minutes I hit another mine and went down...
