Erm...yes...but we were talking about the resistance of the ship itself and not the crew.But on a side note I don't really understand why the captain didn't want to save those poor guys.

Uboats were forbiden to pick up survivors after the Laconia incident
It was pretty much frowned on before though they would give assistance if possible

Didn't know about the incident.Thought the captain was affraid that the people would see a lot of things inside the boat and could perhaps tell the info to the brit navy.Thanks for telling me that
