I already examined the russian ships a few months ago when I fixed them not getting CTD.. I was quite disappointed only finding a cloned Hipper class, Revenge battleship and T-2 tanker without any changes but their names. |
The Russians were loaned the HMS Royal Sovereign in 44 by Britain and was named the
Arkhangelsk - given back to Britain in 1949 for scrapping
The
Lützow ( Hipper class heavy cruiser ) was given to the Russians in April 40 unfinished -Not really finished till after the war but was used as a floating battery
Was called the
Petropavlosk in Sept 40
Name changed then to The Tallin in Sept 44
