I have got to admit, I am loving my GW experiance! The skins are well made, the periscope change I love, the sounds around the ship are incredible - heck, even launching a torpedo raises the hairs on my arms!
I had a Das Boot moment today playing GW. I was surface attacking an unescorted convoy at night, and here I launch 2 torpedos and my watchmen spot a warship at 70 degrees. I take a look, A DESTROYER fires off two rounds right for me. I call for an ALARM, and it's a das boot sequence! It was so loud and fantastic, my adrenaline rushed. I dive to 80 meters, and I hear my torpedos smash the tanker.
Evaded the destroyer for 30 minutes (inlife
), he dropped some charges way aft of me by the end, and I surfaced 5 hours (ingame) later to find the tanker still floating on it's side.
I'm enjoying my experiance now. I'll put Sea Wolves away.
