The Watt numbers are believable, if you consider that even RAM today is one of the biggest power consumers in your system. Must be some garbage RAM. Not sure a normal PSU can power that. I have 2 GB and I don't draw a fraction of that amount. If you overclock it and increase the timing and voltage, then I could see it start to rise in power consumption.
