I agree. I'm getting very tired of the outrageous video card prices and their ridiculous power consumption - it is to the point now a single higher end video card can consume more raw power than everything else in the system combined, and I don't even want to get into SLI and just how sick the power required for two high end cards in SLI and corresponding heat produced is.

To provide more value-added to their vid cards both ATI and NVidia should offer one of those old fashioned toaster oven attachments, it is long past that point of absurdity.

I'm looking at doing a new scratch build within the next couple months and the video card is the component I least look forward to selecting.
WHy do you tink I bought such a huge PSU? For Crossfire of 2x x1900 XTX's
