I think it may be possible. But won't it be a little irrealistic ?

I mean, on a clear day, at the surface of the sea, the farest you can see is about 10 NM. This is what the atmosphere V2 is about.
You're right, we should onlsy see a little bit of smoke but, increasing the view, IMHO, would be a mistake...
