Guys, guys, guys. All those "like"s, "You know"s and "Um"s are called "Vocalized Pauses". Don't you remember anything from High School speech class?
But I do think that all the likes are getting absurd. Sometimes in class, my friends and I listen to what a girl is saying, counting how many times she says "like" in her couple of sentences. Usually, the ratio is 5 or 6:1 in words. What is this world coming to?
