With the exchange of another 303 prisoners each, Russia and Ukraine have completed the largest prisoner exchange since the start of the war. This was reported by both the Russian defence ministry and the Ukrainian army leadership. The exchange began on Friday with the release of 390 prisoners. Yesterday there were 307 on both sides. This brings the total to 1,000 released Russians and 1,000 Ukrainians. Today, it was only military personnel; the other prisoners exchanged included civilians.
In the three days of the exchange, Russia carried out large-scale night attacks on Ukraine. According to Ukraine's foreign minister, last night's were the biggest in many weeks. At least 12 people were killed and dozens injured. According to Ukraine, Russia fired 298 drones and 69 missiles. Ukraine's foreign minister called it the biggest Russian airstrike in weeks.
