The UK is about to embark on its second Indo-Pacific deployment called CSG25. Among the fleet joining the lead ship - the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales - will be the Halifax-class frigate HMCS Ville de Quebec. HMCS Ville de Quebec arrived in Plymouth on April 20th ahead of the planned deployment in which she will accompany the aircraft carrier and other escorts for phase one of the deployment dubbed Operation Horizon by the RCN.
Ville de Quebec will be the oldest vessel joining the carrier task group and will be working alongside Spanish and Norwegian naval vessels during this part of the operation before returning home in November.
