Skyrim's modding scene is wild these days with both the Vortex and the Wabbajack ways of being able to install mod collections with thousands of mods in them with one click (and lots of waiting for the mods to download).
Butttt, I've always prefered Oblivion's world. It's just too dated nowadays even with mods.
The rumour has it that the remaster will still use the bethesda engine (either gamebryo or Creation) for gameplay and UE5 for graphics, which would be great since it retains the game's moddability.
Sucks for the Skyblivion team who were intending to release their project this year, though.
