Я думаю что это не возможно. Так как радар раннего оповещения сделан как обычный сенсор. Для реалистичности все что для него важно так это убрать пеленг на воздушную цель и дальность. SD не мог дать пеленг и определить дальность до цели. Он мог только дать присутствие воздушной цели до 37 км. Но чаще вахта визуально могла обнаружить самолет быстрее чем прозвучит сигнал SD. Но это днем в хорошую погоду. В других погодных условиях чувствовалась польза от этого прибора.

Quite possible, the SD is turned on and off in FOTRS mod. The original mod was by Capn Scurvy from what I understand.


Unfortunately, unable to make it where operator does NOT give a bearing like the real SD. They don't call out the range (operator) and player only knows range if measures on map. If playing without map contacts (as I often do) then no clue.

I have modified visual sensors of deck watch in TMO so they do spot the AC before the SD does in some circumstances, especially if flying below 1000 feet.

Turning it on/off will be a great asset.


I am also convinced an unlisted feature of the sim is enemy planes home in on SD signals (as planes could in real life) and heard this from other modders as well.


either way, it will give a more immersive and realistic feel to have it turned on/off like the SJ.
