...that'd still be Joe Lewis imho, the 'Brown Bomber'(66-3)! over the more colorful and outspoken Ali at(56-5). I am always distressed that all the great pugilists tend to die early though; and suffer from too many hits to the head causing dementia and CTE issues. Watching Ali courageously mount the steps to light the Olympic flame made me cringe. At least in prep-school, where boxing was mandatory, we had 14-20 oz. gloves to sften the blow but hits to the head still hurt. At least George made more money selling BBQ's on TV than he did boxing....over $100,000,000 in the first decade alone!! I loved his ads!
