My worst mistake in SH3
Background to this story when the Steel Sharks SH3 group had 45 plus members playing a SH3 GWX Campaign with a multiplayer element players would enter their assigned patrol grids by the flotilla commander in the commander mod and sail for that grid eg AM17 other players maybe near in AM18 AM19 ect
When a player found the convoy he would save his game report convoy contact on our forums follow convoy reporting convoy size number of escorts convoy heading ect.
Then when all other players are in contact with same convoy the multiplayer mission is written in the location of the last player to find that convoy and at night time.
But you only have 14 torpedos in a VIIB/C minus any eels you have used in your single player patrol enroute to your grid.
I had to vacate my rented house due to a new boiler being fitted so moved in to a ground floor flat five miles away for five days took my laptop to enter the convoys.
The owner of the flat did not mention the token meter for the electric i just paid for the use of the flat for five days on the Tuesday Around 4:15pm all electric went off.
I rang flat owner she said she would have to get some more credit on electric token key but i'm not in town for 24hrs so my reply was what do i do no lighting no heating also can't cook anything can't even make a brew and food in freezer will go off also 24hrs later power was back on and she replaced the food
Re My worst mistake in SH3
was when writing a new campaign in the SCR Scripted leyer of the mission editor
adding convoys from 8:00am in the morning to 4:15pm and not saving my progress.
Then having a power outage and lost all that work 50-60 convoys 8 hours work down the pan.
So reentered all those convoys in blocks of five then saved and also backed up the campaign folder after every five convoys for peace of mind.
