You can also "cheat" a little and turn off manual fire control, from there, in the periscope view, you have to wait until the gyro angle indicator reads as close to zero as it possibly can, then launch. If you want to launch a spread of 3 torpedoes at an angle of 2 degrees, you fire one at 358, one at 000, and the last at 002

To me, the challenge is still there in getting the setup and approach dead accurate, not so much deciphering the logistics of using the manual aiming system yet. I'll get there but for now, I'll take this simplified version until I'm more up to speed
