It's historically accurate, Soviet torpedoes didn't have gyros.

The mod includes an extensive set of tables as part of the in-game TDC equivalent giving Range/Angle/Speed settings, but it's all in Cyrillic.

Basically you have to "Lead the Target" and aim ahead of what your firing at in order to have a chance of hitting it.
