ONCE was a powerhouse. I think that the German people are a stubborn lot and will re-imagine themselves into what you feel they once were. I can say that as I am half German and have seen that determination in my own family.
If the German people can conceive of a new reality or reinvent themselves, I would bet by sheer force of will, the German's will make that happen.
