To give a definite answer to your and crazyivans problem I have looked into the sourcecode and check what happens on startup. Besides the read from Sh3Gen\parameters.ini everything critical at startup is error handled. So if you delete Sh3Gen\parameters.ini it will make Sh3Gen crash at startup but there is no other way I can think of. That means, either the file is missing from the Sh3Gen directory, or maybe:
- your download was corrupt
- something is broken within dotNET or the OS
etc ..
Have you tried downloading and installing a second time?
Are you sure you have .NET 1.1? Should you maybe try the 2.0 version instead?
The behaviour is very unusual and I have never seen it before.

Thanks for your continued support. I've installed NET 2.0, installed NET 2.0 version of SH3Gen, ran SH3Gen after I did an alt-tab out of SH3, absolutely nothing happens
I'm at a loss. I don't receive the JIT debugger now but the SH3Gen.exe will not excecute meaning it does nothing. No screen comes up or anything.
