More than likely been covered ad nauseum, but I've missed it if it has - so apologies in advance.

When in heavy rain/fog i see a radius around the boat that is affected by reduced visibility. Outside of that radius I see a black seascape with no waves rendered. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I have an NVidia 5500+ card.
