Here it is folks, the final column of the year fittingly, on New Years Eve. It's when we graciously thank our host Subsim.com and the many fans by presenting the 2024 All Star Team.

This year's competition was a strange affair, a cloak and dagger, hunt and destroy type blockbuster. The honoree for the All Star Team comes not from their most famous role, but perhaps the role to which all of us at Subsim.com identify with...integrty.

So.... early this morning - and we had long suspected this - the Subsim Fantasy Football League ended. The league was sold off for two tickets to the USS Cavalla, a hot dog and a soda to an undisclosed buyer. The Subsim Fantasy league has run now for fourteen years - with its diehard players including Mister Chris (Helmand Nighthawks) emerging as the Bill Billicheck Honoree for best performing coach.
Congratulations Mister Chris.
Come July next year when practice starts, all the Subsim Fantasy Players will probably go off and play in the lower league of the NFL.
It's been an honor and privilege to write of the fantasy accounts of many of our teams, some no longer here, and some of the lasting memories (Tarjack taking the 49ers Defense in the first round being the most incredible).
To our readers, thank you for patronage and the many thousands of page views that we've had year after year.
And as we reach to turn the lights off, we thank Mister Stevens for creating the most fabulous community around where we could talk fantasy football in a subsim setting. We graciously tip our hat, bow, and head out of the room.
