As details emerge from SDF and local sources, today’s impressive defense of Manbij is proof that a lightly armed but well-prepared and highly disciplined defender can inflict intolerable losses on a more numerous & much better equipped attacker, even one with total air supremacy. Territories recaptured by the SDF since the SNA's offensive earlier this morning. The Russians pulled its forces from the purple area and that’s how occupied Turkish state back gangs took over that area. Turkish planes are bombing, and Islamic terrorists are attacking from the ground for days, but Manbij has not fallen. For days now also, the all-women units of YPJ have been resisting and repelling all attacks of Turkey backed mercenaries on the Manbij front lines

The high-speed collapse of the Assad regime has left Russians all over stranded. Russian military bloggers say that at this moment Russians are surrounded at several positions, such as Homs and Palmyra, but the situation at their primary bases in Latakia and Tartus as well as in the Syrian capital is absolutely chaotic. Even in the Kurdish regions, where Russians were operating before Assad's fall, the situation is absolutely unclear. The situation is even worse than they describe, since they try to keep OPSEC in order to keep the lives of those cutoff Russians as safe as possible. However, they also say that there is not much hope for those Russians either. They are marooned and on their own. Another Russian military adventure ends in absolute catastrophe. Kurds now control nearly 100% of the oil in Syria, over 50% of wheat production, and dominate the Euphrates. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) a Kurdish-led coalition of U.S.-backed ethnic militias and rebel groups, and serves as the official military wing of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) has no interest in the rest of Syria only to establish a Syrian Kurdistan or Rojava (Kurdistan where the sun sets).

The SDF keeps on encircling and neutralising SNA sleeper cells in Manbij. Streets are scattered with dead SNA fighters and across the countryside clashes continue. The Turkish military keeps carrying out air and artillery strikes on Manbij. The SDF is fighting a remarkable battle. In war everything is possible but as of now the SDF maintains the upper hand.
