I looked up "German air reconnaisance grid code" and found nothing, zip, nada...my poor guess is: the the game already knows your two-letter grid (AG, AF etc) location; and are just providing the subgrid numbers in that square...??

The leftside "# 0850"(ie: 8:50 AM in military time)in your pic is the time of BdU's message reception on your logsheet imho?
