Recently came across some old photostats of a pirate comic strip idea I originated in high school. This was back when I thought I was hot stuff cuz I owned a technical pen set for doing straight lines. W00t!
The pirate captain's name was Fatbeard. In retrospect, I should have named him Shortbeard. His crew was incompetent, jaded and bored. The sharpest of the sorry lot was a rat. Sort of a sea-going version of
Crock. Most of the gags were at best lame and juvenile. Nice to know some things never change.
Oh well....at least it's a brief antidote to all the heavy political stuff on this forum.
