I’m pretty much lit right now. But,

looking at FBI stats it appears to me violent crime has dropped like a rock since 1990.

Looking at those same stats there does appear to be an increase in violent crime starting in 2020. But honestly I’d consider it just a blip on the radar, insignificant compared to what used to be. According to FBI statistics violent crime is already on the decline again.
