The problem was first brought to my attention by a radio interview here in LA where the person being interviewed brought up the subject of the Chile visa problem; I was curious and did some research and found the claim was, indeed, true; and, to those kneejerkers who will immediately blame Obama/Biden/Harris, et al, I do want to point out the problem started in 2014 and four four (4) of the intervening years, the reins of government were firmly in the hands of Trump, who, it seems, was too busy putting up defective, infective, tiny stretches of border wall to take the time to, as you like to put it, look at the "big picture" and do a really comprehensive job of reforming and restructuring the totality of immigration laws and policies; a goodly chunk of the blame lies at his feat and even more so given his constant bitching and whining and claiming he, alone, is tougher of illegal immigration...
