IMO its better to just eyeball it if you're doing snapshots. Just guesstimate it and slap it into the TDC. You'd be surprised what you can hit.


Just know the rules:
Errors in speed can be compensated for by being closer.
Errors in AOB can be compensated for by firing when they are broadside.
Errors in Range can be compensated for by firing as forward as possible.


You follow those rules, just eyeball it and let the TDC figure it out. Otherwise you are just guessing at the lead needed which is harder to do.


Lastly, if you are attacking a convoy that you know the speed of and they start weaving, subtract 2kts for your snapshots. I've found after multiple hours thats a good rough estimate of how much they slow down.
