Merchant Blew Itself Up!
On patrol I was notified of a lone merchant close by. I set up my approach for what I thought was going to be a successful attack and all of a sudden the sunk ship icon appeared on the nav map. I went up to the bridge and saw smoke on the horizon where the merchant should be. Did the merchant have some sort of accident and sink itself? Then again, perhaps there was another U-boat close by that got it first!
