My thoughts exactly after having seen a 25 minutes summary of it.
Civilizations falling are prone to mistaking diversity with decadence and degeneration. A culture that does not know its roots and origin anymore or, worse, actively denies or, worst, mocks them, has no future.
My interest was low from beginning on. After this I am done with the games completely.
Los Angeles 1984 were the most intense olympic games I ever followed, and I enjoyed every single day of them and was excited about practically every competition, staring on the TV many hours every day. Good memories!
