The Europeanversion is actually pretty good (the Red Storm Rising Campaign, extra missions etc.) but there's only a pretty useless printed manual. The really detailed one is on CD and only comes as an English PDF file. Another important fact is that you can't use the LWAMI mod if you've got the European version (that's what I've heard). If that doesen't bother you then I'd say get the European version.
