Germany: Reich Chancellor Wilhelm Marx (Zentrum), Reich President Friedrich Ebert (SPD) dissolves the Reichstag early. The background is the opposition of the Reichstag majority to the emergency regulations (including emergency tax regulations) issued by the minority government.
