SH4_Q-Ref_Card_Front.jpg
I do start the game as administrator sh4.exe. UbiConnect will be started automatically.

I deactivated the patch.
I moved the folder to:
E:\Silent Hunter 4 Gold Edition - tfotrs
Made all things again as you described:
- start JGSME and deactivate the patch
same result again. No mod is activated.
