Something I find worth noting is how Oswald landed the book depository job in the first place is strong indication that it was a opportunistic killing.

Around mid-October, Oswald's wife heard from their neighbour that another neighbour had gotten a job at the Depository. The first neighbour then asked the other if he could ask for a job for Oswald. #2 told #1 to tell Oswald's wife that there might be need for more workers at the Depository. Oswald and another man were hired and by chance the manager decided to have Oswald work at the Depository while he sent the other new employee to work at another location.

This all happened around mid-October, a whole month before it was even internally decided where JFK would speak in Dallas and which route the motorcade would take.

I mean, does that sound like a carefully planned conspiracy to assassinate JFK?
