ach, i forgot about the DC (depth charge) patch.
i am not aware of a mod/patch for DC effects although i can say, from experience, that DC explosions WILL affect your boat in the water.
i have been bounced around in all three dimensions when a DC explodes close aboard and i am playing RFB v2.0 with RSRDC v5.75.
