Reviews come in. Two meta reviews portlas currently have it both at 87/100.

A pattern emerges already: the game is good, but not that stellar as was hoped and expected. That much opportunity was wasted with the huge universe and this many mostly empty worlds. The hand-crafted worlds are great, the procedurally generated worlds beocme repetitive (which I think is unavoidable). Usually its said if you love Bethesda games you will like this one, too, if you hate Bethesada then dont expect this to be the cure for you.The inventory seems to be unneededly unhandy, the levelling up of skills takes a very lot of time, and you need to really grind very time-intensely for ressources to build your wanted stuff. Well, that was what I already did not like in No man's sky. The procedurally generated worlds are not without borders on their surface, and mostyl are simply empty, maybe offer ressouces. Bethesda said they wanted to depict the universe out there realistically - well, I dont know if this represenation did the game favours.

Quite some people express soemthing nthat could be summarized as that Bethesda maybe bit off slightly more than it could chew. That this does not ruin the game, but prevents it from becoming a real top title.

I have NOT spend 30 coins more just to already play now, thats stupid. So I still need to wait a bit. I usually do not buy even in advance, but this time I expect that on Septembre 6th their servers maybe will collapse. - Or after these reviews not anymore.

What they widely admit is that this is a surprisingly bug-free release indeed, the least buggy game Bethesda ever released. The bug when NPCs sink into the ground on some occasions, I expect to be patched soon, since they are so obvious.

The game directly competes with Baldurs Gate III for game of the year title, many assume. And most have Baldur in the lead.

Much hate from PS4 players who cannot play it. LOL Hate also form players coml, aing about wokeness in the game. Oh good, I hope its not as bad as in The Outer World, which I refunded. That title was almost an ideological forced conversion attempt.

I loved Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 4 (F3 not so much). For me it is mandatory that I will try it myself, even if my hopes are not the most enthusiastic.
