Broadcaster and former chat show host Michael Parkinson has died aged 88, his family announces.
Sir Michael's TV career spanned 50 years, with high-profile guests including Muhammad Ali and Sir Elton John.
The BBC's Nick Robinson calls him "the greatest interviewer of our age" who "owned Saturday night TV"
BBC director general Tim Davie says Parkinson was a "wonderful listener" and "one of a kind"
And Stephen Fry says that, unlike most people, Parkinson was always "100% himself"
