SE2 Remastered and SE3 are just as much fun as SE4. Downloading SE5 now, but I fully expect it to be as good or better than the rest of the series.

If you want to try the series, you can get SE3 for $2.99 USD right now, and add the DLC literally for pennies if you want it. That's a bargain. And the whole series is cheap right now if you like it.
