North Sea, febr. 1940. I got a polish freighter sunked with just one torpedo (NYGM 2), but whatkind of torpedo! Basic target data was B336, 700, Ab 10 right, speed 8. The U-boat was submerged, 12 meters. When the torpedo hit, the hole boat went out of control and L.I. started yelling damages. Last vision in the scope was that the target was changed its course and was coming straight on to us. Then the scope went under water.
For a moment I didn't know, what was happend. Mine, own torpedo, missed deck gun on the target, aircraft...? Sure, I ordered emergency blow right away, we were in 22 - 25 meters. Flank ahead boat rised really fast and I got myself on the deck.
The target was to the left fm the bow, burning and sinking fast, range was about 100 meters I think. Then I saw it: The boats bow was now black!

A super natular torpedo! I think range to the target was about 300 meters when she got a hit and we were down in the 12 meters...
Jeez. Once again a nice surprice from the NYGM!
So, thank you modders!
