Eierschecken are wonderful, something like the deluxe version of cheesecake and then some, but they really need some working time invested, thats why I do not do them myself, even with a baking mix (which you must order online, supermarkets in my region do not offer it, its really a regional speciality and outside that region almost impossible to find in bakeries).
