In this morning's paper: Russia was booted out of the League of Nations in 1939 for its invasion of Finland...so there is precedent for removing it again from the present successor, the United Nations.... if nothing else, communist countries are particularly sensitive to "loss of face" on the international stage. In addition to the horrendous casualties and awful demonstration of military prowess that leaves even their Chinese allies wondering at the miscalculation of the 'snatch and grab' tactics of Hitler's 1939 lightning-war. IE: Grabbing Ukrainian territory is one thing; holding it is another; and copycat Putler doesn't have the rubles to build another "Iron Curtain" from northernmost Estonia to the Crimea this time around, alà Ol' Adolf's'' breeched 'Atlantic Wall'!??
