I recently started a new career (29th Flotilla Dec '41) and found my crew lost their voices! Has anyone had this problem? I cancelled the career, deleted SH Commander, rebooted, and started the game from the SH icon. When I started a new career again, the voices were still missing. Did you rollback SH3commander before uninstalling it ?
There has been a few threads similair to this recently - have a look thru the search and see what was found out |
Unfortunately I didn't. I don't even know the consequences of not doing it, however, the voice problem didn't change before or after the uninstall. Once again, I appreciate your advice. I am not new to (vanilla) gaming but I am to the world of mods and forums, etc. I feel like the proverbial  bull in the china shop. |
Hey dont sweat it - even now I manage to wreck my installation but learned a long time ago to have of back up of the data that works ok
When I add mods or change things and they work I just update my backup copy
Always have a vanilla instal too in case I need the files
If you read the threads that belong to each mod - you wont go far wrong
I know in one of the other " no crew voice " threads that a complete uninstall - including the SH3 folder in my documents solved the problem
