Amen to that. I am preaching this since years and years. Experience, quality, technical lead can comeopnsate for numericla ifneirority otz a certain degree, and not beyond. And the Chinese did all that they can do to close the quality gap, they are not a force of numbers only anymore, but a high tech force. I recall they file more tech patents in digital comunication now now (=since years) than anyone else, its Huawei. In general computer technology patents it is second only to the US, having surpassed Germany and Japan. The geeral number of patents filed in the past seven years has been raised by almost 200%! To compare, the raise in patents filed by the US, Germany or Japan is in the range of 2-5% in that time. Only ion total number of patents, all industrial branches, it looks as if China is still a bit behind, the US leads by an advanatge of factor 3, roughly. But again: in certain technological key branches, namely digital communication and computers, the Chinese are en par with the US, Japan, Germany.
