I'd gone to get superior German percussion caps for backpowder re-enacting. He was bearded, scruffy, in a trench coat; and looked like a homeless person. We made eye contact as I stood aside and he kept looking over his shoulder at me as we parted. I thought no more of it till years later, when he was finally arrested, and I saw the news photos!...the shop also sold black and nitrate gunpowder suitable for his infernal devices...( infernal!?? today is Guy Fawkes Day!).

What's worse is Ted Kacynznski's family turned him in to the authorities. His family doesn't care. They don't care, I tell ya.

I'm sure they cared around the 4th of July though. I'm sure Ted had some great fireworks and explosives for the family Independence day picnic / gatherings.
