2. The underwater part of the hull (painted in red) would have a far better looking if it has a "weathering effect" : I mean not clean but with traces of oxidation (rust). But maybe it's too complicated to do.
Hello.
I have some photos made in same place at april 1940 - its look even more darker than on model. Seems paint was burn out during five-years sevice of ship.
So we have some sort of compromise on model.
