I like how he also shows sense for beauty and asthetics, not just functionality. I have big respect for people able to do something like this. I could build a bivak, even a weather-prove biwk if need be - but a hobbit house like this, and then so cozy, and alone without a second pair of hands helping out? No, thats beyond me.
