I had a 22 inch Viewsonic and I wouldn't recommend them. Damn thing burnt out a week after the warrenty expired. I paid to have it repaired only to have it burn out again in the same manner less than a year later.
I went back to the old 19 inch used Sony i got donated to me by a customer and that lasted for nearly 3 more years (for a total of 8 i think) before it finally gave up the ghost.
Now i'm using a Samsung SyncMaster 930e which, while smaller, has really good color depth to it making it as easy to view as the old 22 inch (when it worked).
