Thank you Commander Wallace and Skybird. I'm glad you both enjoyed it. There are quite a few other cool space videos I've made with Space Engine. Oh and yes I do record it in 2D. Space Engine requires a pretty good PC and in VR you'd need an exceptional one, especially near planets; even moreso in the latest version. I used to be able to record near planets and Sounds of Space 2 video we visit an alien planet and find a little creature
but in the latest verion of SE, the performance isn't as good when recording.
I too am a huge fan of Astronomy and have devoured everything I can find out about it over the course of many decades.
