As for Sea Dogs 2/Pirates of the Caribean 1, there are fortunatly some good mods which get rid of alot of the crap (like skeletons) and turn it more into a 3d Pirates! game. Unfortunatly the only quest series is still the original, and with so few cities you cant exactly do a whole lot of raiding.

Frigate was class 3 along with the Corvette, and it was a single deck only.
