I recently installed the LWAMI realism mod - great stuff.

I've been playing a scenario that has water currents set. It's a 5 knot 100 degree current.

With a sub going 5 knots at a heading of 270 pressing alt-h reveals an actual path of around 200 or so. Increasing speed of the sub decreases the impact of the current as it should.

Now in real life I know currents impact course. But so much? I don't remember having currents impact course so much with out the mod.

Did the mod change the way current impacts naval platforms or was it always in there and I just never noticed.
